Moving in to my new university completely on my own in a country I had never even been to before this day was an order as tall as the North Campus bell tower it self.
These first few days were unnervingly lonely. Half of my friends were back home, the other half scattered all across the States, and indeed the world. I knew no one within the state of Michigan or anywhere near at all.
Walking around the campus and coming across the bell tower brought about mixed emotions. On one hand, it all felt so grand, so massive, too much to handle on my own. On the other, it felt like a new beginning. A new challenge. An oppurtunity to do bigger and better things.
Let's see how this goes.
